An agreement has practically been reached between Liverpool and Real Madrid on the transfer of Spain international Xabi Alonso for a fee of 28 million euros, according to the British Times. Alonso, who has an overall FTBL rating of 143.01 points at the moment, will rank 2nd among midfielders at the Bernabeu, behind Brazil superstar Kaká, who has a tally of 159.65 points.
Alonso is among the best midfielders in the FTBL world ranking and 2nd among Spanish playmakers, behind Barcelona’s Xavi (155.75 points). He picks up more than 10 rating points on average per game, and is second only to England international Steven Gerrard (181.64 points) at Liverpool.
