It is no secret that Arsenal’s Russian international Andrei Arshavin has been nurturing the desire to play at Barcelona. A deal even seemed possible last year, as the Catalans expressed readiness to pay 15 million euros for the forward. But Arshavin ended up at the Emirates and has since proved that he is one of the best forwards in Europe at the moment, with an overall FTBL rating of 134.09 points.
But it is also clear that Arshavin will have difficulties carving out a role for himself in the first team in today’s Barcelona, as he will have to compete with world-class forwards such as Sweden and France internationals Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thierry Henry, who have FTBL ratings of 187.82 points and 177.08 points, respectively.
