Bordeaux’s young defender Marc Planus (pictured) captured the 3rd spot in the FTBL Top 23 of French defenders after his side’s convincing 4:1 victory over RC Lens in Ligue 1 action.
The youngster played the entire game to earn 12.08 rating points and boost his overall FTBL rating to 91.72 points. The tally puts him in 29th place in the FTBL world ranking of defenders.
Planus trails only Manchester United’s Patrice Evra (100.2 points) and Arsenal’s William Gallas (98.94 points) in the FTBL ranking of French defenders.
In our ranking of defenders in the French Ligue 1, Planus is now in 3rd position, behind Olympique Marseille’s Souleymane Diawara (105.41 points) and Nigeria international Taye Taiwo (96.11 points).
