Stuttgart’s Russian international Pavel Pogrebnyak seems to be finding his bearings in the Bundesliga as he scored a goal in his side’s 4:2 win over newly promoted FC Freiburg. He earned 20 rating points in the game and is now in 2nd place in the FTBL rankings of Stuttgart and Russian forwards, simultaneously, with a tally of 90.40 points.
Against FC Timisoara in the Champions League qualification round the Russian will have a plank of 8.10 rating points to beat, and a goal on top of that will send his FTBL rating past the 100-point mark.
It is worth noting that all Russian strikers improved their ratings this past weekend: Lokomotiv Moscow’s Dmitri Sychev and Rubin’s Aleksandr Bukharov both added 17 rating points to take their tallies to 88.02 and 82.62 points, respectively. The leader in the FTBL ranking of Russian forwards continues to be Arsenal’s Arshavin with 142.53 points.
