Olympique Lyon’s Brazil international Cris (pictured right) broke into the top tier of the FTBL ranking of Ligue 1 defenders after helping his side to a narrow 1:0 win over Valenciennes FC in league action.
The Brazilian played the entire game, earning 16.85 rating points to boost his overall FTBL rating to 95.85 points and grab the 26th spot in the FTBL world ranking of defenders.
In the French Ligue 1, Cris is now behind only Olympique de Marseille’s Nigeria international Taye Taiwo (109.95 points) and Senegalese Souleymane Diawara (110.10 points). Cris has also captured the 4th place in our ranking of Brazilian defenders.
