Arsenal’s Cameroon international Alexandre Song (pictured) has carved out a place for himself in the top tier of the FTBL World Ranking of U21 midfielders.
Song has picked up 20 rating points in his last two appearances to boost his overall FTBL rating to 82.46 points and claim the 3rd top spot in our World Ranking of U21 midfielders, behind only Brazilian teammate Denilson (106.45 points) and Werder Bremen’s Mesut Ozil (86.96 points).
Song now tops our ranking of Cameroonian midfielders, ahead of Olympique Lyon’s Jean Makoun (979.46 points).
The Cameroonian is likely to continue his ascent in the rankings given that he is guaranteed a 4.7-point bonus in his next appearance. The FTBL rating is computed with account of a player’s last 5 games, while the rating points earned in the game preceding his most recent five are multiplied by a coefficient of 0.1.
