Arsenal’s Dutch striker Robin van Persie (pictured in a blue jersey) will have a daunting plank of 32.80 rating points to overcome when the Gunners host Portsmouth tomorrow.
The high plank is a result of van Persie’s brace in Arsenal’s recent 4:1 trashing of Stoke City in Premier League action. He boosted his FTBL rating to 158.54 points in that game. But a poor performance on Saturday could cost the Dutch international his spot in the top tier of the FTBL ranking of Premier League strikers.
In addition, van Persie could lose his position as the highest rated striker at Arsenal to Russian international Andrei Arshavin (136.92 points), who will have a plank of just 3.17 rating points to beat.
