Arsenal’s Russian international Andrei Arshavin (pictured) returned into the top tier of the FTBL ranking of forwards in the Premier League after the Gunners’ convincing 4:1 win over embattled Portsmouth at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.
The Russian had 72 minutes of playtime and, despite his substitution and no goals, still picked up 13.95 rating points in our system to take his overall FTBL rating to 150.87 points.
Arshavin is now in 20th place in the FTBL World Ranking of forwards while 6th in our ranking of Premier League strikers. Among Russian strikers, Arshavin has further consolidated his lead over nearest rival Dmitri Sychev of Lokomotiv Moscow (88.02 points).
