Chelsea’s Germany skipper Michael Ballack (pictured) has begun the new Premier League campaign in impressive form, pushing up resolutely in the FTBL World Ranking of midfielders.

In his latest appearances, the German has picked up 36 rating points in our system, boosting his overall FTBL rating to 140.55 points. Ballack is now in 8th place in our World Ranking of midfielders, as well as 2nd in the FTBL ranking of midfielders in the Premier League in addition to his 1st spot in our ranking of German playmakers.

Ballack could further boost his rating in the coming weeks, as he will have a plank of just 5.6 rating points to beat in his next appearance.
