It will be interesting to observe how strikers Wayne Rooney (pictured in front) and Andrei Arshavin perform when Manchester United and Arsenal battle it out in English Premier League action tomorrow. If Rooney now tops the FTBL ranking of strikers in the league with impressive form, Russian international Arshavin has been losing ground recently and is out of the top tier.
Arshavin will have a plank of approximately 20 rating points to beat, and with an overall FTBL rating of 144.53 points at the moment, a victory for the Gunners will help him gain ground in the FTBL Top 23.
Rooney (209.62 points), on the other hand, faces a tougher plank of approximately 30 rating points to beat. If United win, Rooney could even grab the top spot in the FTBL World Ranking of strikers, our most prestigious chart. At the moment the top-ranked striker in the world, Wolfsburg’s Bosnian Edin Dzeko, has a tally of 217.76 points. But he faces an even tougher plank of 50 rating points to beat in his next game.
