Cristiano Ronaldo scored one through a penalty as Real Madrid edged aside Deportivo Coruna (3:2) in their season opener yesterday, making his debut in the FTBL ranking of La Liga strikers with a tally of 168.11 points.
The Portuguese, who at Real plays in the position of striker--unlike at Old Trafford where he played as a midfielder--picked up 24 rating points in our system for his first performance in La Liga.
Ronaldo had a high plank of 20 rating points to beat, a plank he set back in his Premier League days when Manchester United defeated city rival Manchester City 2:0 and he grabbed the opener. He will face a lower plank of 13 rating points in his next game.
