Juventus' Brazilian playmakers Diego (pictured in the center) and Felipe Melo, bought from Werder Bremen and Fiorentina respectively in the off-season, seem to have adapted quite well in Turin and have begun justifying the investment with solid performances in the Serie A.
Diego grabbed a double against AS Roma to claim a place in the FTBL’s top three of midfielders in the Serie A with a tally of 110.67 points as Juventus won 3:1.
The third goal came form Melo, who is 1st in the FTBL ranking of midfielders in the Serie A with 150.91 points. Melo is also the second-ranked Brazilian midfielder by FTBL.com. Diego is 6th on that chart.
But it is worth noting that Melo’s FTBL rating could suffer in the coming game, given the high plank of 20-30 rating points he needs to clear. In the meantime, Diego has a good chance of extending his gains with the next two games bound to bring him bonuses of 3 and 1 rating points, respectively.
