Real Madrid superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be leaving the Bernabeu behind on Saturday and Wednesday to help his country Portugal against Denmark and Hungary in two World Cup 2010 qualifiers. He would do well to use the occasion to revive his rating fortunes in the FTBL system.
Ronaldo, who has an overall FTBL rating of 168.11 points at the moment, has been pushed out of the elite group of world forwards in the FTBL ranking by the hypercompetition in that category. The coming games should be a chance for the Portuguese to try and engineer a return.
The games will certainly be difficult, as the Danes and Hungarians, Portugal’s main rivals in the qualifying group, remain ahead on points. To re-claim the lead, Portugal will need to win both games.
Ronaldo will have a plank of 13 and 6 rating points to beat in our system, respectively. Will the world’s most expensive football player rise to the occasion?
