Italy defender Fabio Grosso (pictured right), who has returned home to join Juventus after a successful stint with French Ligue 1 powerhouse Olympique Lyon, will find competition for first-team action in Turin rather fierce.
Grosso’s immediate competition will be Cristian Molinaro and Paolo De Ceglie, who seem to have adapted well in the club. But Grosso can take comfort in the fact that he has the highest overall FTBL rating at the moment at 58.91 points, to Molinaro’s 50.77 and De Ceglie’s 42.5 points.
The Italian international also boasts a higher individual contribution to the rating (16.8% against Molinaro’s 14.6% and 1.2% for De Ceglie). In addition, Grosso averages 7.56 points per game, while his rivals have 7.45 and 5.03 points, respectively. But competition still promisses to be particularly intense.
