Valencia young midfielder David Silva (pictured in the number 18 jersey) grabbed a double as Spain yesterday trashed Belgium 5:0 in their World Cup 2010 qualifier to return in the top tier of the FTBL ranking of midfielders in La Liga.
The brace earned the youngster a whopping 38.47 rating points in our system and the 8th spot in the FTBL ranking of La Liga midfielders with an overall FTBL rating of 112.05 points.
Silva is now in 24th position in our world ranking of midfielders and could improve that ranking as early as in his next appearance, given he will face a plank of just 2.9 rating points to beat.
