Former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko (pictured in center) continues to mark his return home to Dynamo Kyiv with goals. He was on target again yesterday with the national team as they trashed minnows Andorra 5:0 in a World Cup 2010 qualifier. Shevchenko scored from the penalty spot and earned 23 rating points in our system in the process.
Shevchenko began his goalscoring streak with one (also from the penalty spot) in Dynamo Kyiv’s 3:1 win over Metalurh Donetsk. He is now back in the top tier of the FTBL ranking of Ukrainian strikers with an overall FTBL rating of 62.08 points.
Teammate Artem Milevskiy grabbed a double, while Andriy Yarmolenko had one against Andorra. Milevskiy and Yarmolenko are 1st and 2nd, respectively, in the FTBL ranking of Ukrainian strikers with 113.92 and 75.04 points, respectively.
