Inter Milan’s Cameroonian star Samuel Eto’o is on the verge of grabbing the top spot in the FTBL World Ranking of strikers; with an overall rating of 179.64 points, the Cameroonian will have a plank of just fewer than 5 rating points to beat when his side take on Parma in Italian Serie A action on Saturday.

Despite scoring twice in World Cup 2010 qualifying against Gabon, Eto’o’s planks for those games were too high for his performance to dramatically boost his personal rating.

Eto’o now has the chance of finally laying claim on the top spot in our world ranking of strikers if he can produce a solid performance.
