As Juventus downed Livorno 2:0 in Italian Serie A action yesterday, left-back Fabio Grosso (pictured left) picked up enough rating points to boost his overall FTBL rating to 103.51 points, while fellow Italy international Fabio Cannavaro, who had to sit out the game due to injury, retreated in the FTBL ranking of Juventus defenders.
Cannavaro will be unavailable for three weeks, and his FTBL rating remains at 97.6 points. Both defenders still trail absolute leader Giorgio Chiellini, who boosted his overall rating to 125.21 points after the game against Livorno.
Grosso has now improved his position in our various rankings: he is 2nd in the ranking of Italian defenders, while in 4th place in our ranking of all Serie A defenders.
