Juventus forward and Italy international Vincenzo Iaquinta (pictured in the foreground) retained the top spot in the FTBL ranking of Serie forwards, scoring a goal as the Old Lady of Turin downed Livorno 2:0 to open up a 3-point gap at the top of the Serie A standings.
Iaquinta, who had a high plank of 21.70 rating points to beat in the game, did splendidly by grabbing the opener in the 8th minute. He earned more than 7 rating points in our system to boost his overall FTBL rating to 114.16 points and consolidate his position at the top.
Udinese’s Antonio Di Natale, Iaquinta’s nearest rival, failed to improve significantly as a result of the goalless draw at Napoli. He remains in 2nd place with an overall FTBL rating of 132.52 points.
