Brazilian star striker
Luís Fabiano lost more than 20 rating points as he failed to score despite
Sevilla’s 2:0 home win over
Mallorca last Tuesday: the loss pushed him down to 5th place in the FTBL ranking of La Liga strikers.
The huge loss was due to the fact that Fabiano faced a very high plank of approximately 43 rating points in the game, a plank he set with two goals in the final of the Confed Cup against the U.S. in South Africa.
Fabiano can take heart in two facts: he remains at the top of the FTBL ranking of Brazilian strikers, and his plank to beat in the next game will amount to just 0.77 rating points. If Sevilla win against Athletic Bilbao next Saturday, that should considerably boost his rating, which now stands at 161.38 points.
