Olympique Marseille’s Senegal international Mamadou Niang (pictured) captured the 2nd spot in the FTBL ranking of Ligue 1 strikers when he contributed a goal in his side’s 4:2 home win over Montpellier last weekend.

Niang grabbed the second in the 34th minute in a solo effort. He earned 14.71 rating points in our system in the game, boosting his overall FTBL rating to 129.71 points.

The Senegalese star is now in 40th position in the FTBL World Ranking of strikers, while he has now replaced Olympique Lyon’s Bafetimbi Gomis (122.69 points) as Senegal’s top striker on the FTBL chart.
