Tottenham Hotspur skipper Robbie Keane (pictured) was prolific yesterday against newly promoted Burnley, scoring four times to force those who have questioned his commitment after a less-than-convincing start to the current season to rethink their assessments.
As Spurs won 5:0, Keane picked up 41.3 rating points in our system, more than any player has earned in a single game in recent months. He now has an overall FTBL rating of 166.52 points and is at the foot of the top 10 strikers in the world on the FTBL chart. He has also claimed the 5th spot in our ranking of Premier League strikers.
It is worth noting that only once has Keane ever rated higher than currently in our system: last March he hit 180 points. Generally, his FTBL rating hovers around the 140-point mark.
