Werder Bremen’s Peruvian international Claudio Pizarro (pictured) and Wolfburg’s Brazilian Grafite are jostling for position in the top tier of the FTBL ranking of Bundesliga strikers.
Each boosted his overall FTBL rating after last weekend’s games: Pizarro picked up 12.35 rating points as Bremen convincingly defeated Maiz 3:1, while Grafite earned 13.04 rating points as the title holders defeated Hannover 4:2.
Pizarro now has an overall FTBL rating of 149.44 points, against Grafite’s 146.34. The two could trade places after the next round: Pizarro will have a plank of 16 rating points to beat, while Grafite will have to clear a bar of less than 1 rating point.
