Bordeaux’s Michael Ciani (pictured in the foreground) for the first time in his career captured a spot in the top 6 of the FTBL ranking of French Ligue 1 defenders when his lone goal helped the Girondins to a narrow home win over Haifa Maccabi (1:0) in their Champions League group stage game last Wednesday.
Ciani found the net with a well-calibrated header at the 83rd and earned 14.66 rating points in our system. He now has an overall FTBL rating of 98.36 points.
In addition to now being in 3rd place in our ranking of Ligue 1 defenders, Ciani has also captured, again for the first time, the 3rd spot in the FTBL ranking of French defenders.
