Barcelona’s Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic (pictured) will have a perfect opportunity to return in the top echelon of the FTBL World Ranking of forwards, our most prestigious chart, if he can produce a strong performance when the Catalans host mid-table UD Almería tomorrow in La Liga.

Ibrahimovic currently has an overall FTBL rating of 180.26 points, some 8 rating points from the top 6. He will need to pick up approximately 14 rating points in our system to return in the elite.

A Barcelona victory should be enough to achieve that, while his rival for a spot in the elite, Chelsea’s Didier Drogba (174.5 points), will have a tougher challenge when the Blues host Liverpool on Sunday: he will need to clear a plank of 14 rating points.
