Arsenal’s Dutch star Robin van Persie (pictured) broke into the top 6 of the FTBL ranking of Premier League forwards after adding his name on the scoresheet in the 6:2 demolition of Blackburn Rovers yesterday.

The Dutch international grabbed the second in the 33rd, boosting his overall FTBL rating by 19.36 rating points to 171.39 points. He is now in 9th place in our world ranking of forwards.

In addition to the 5th spot in our ranking of forwards in the Premier League, van Persie has also captured the top spot in our ranking of Dutch forwards, slipping ahead of Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt (170.96 points).
