Napoli’s Fabio Quagliarella (pictured) captured a spot in the top 6 of the FTBL ranking of Serie A strikers as he helped the struggling Campanians to a narrow 2:1 home win over Bologna on Sunday with a goal in the 72nd minute.

The goal earned the Italy international 16.05 rating points in the FTBL system to boost his tally to 120.26 points. He is now in 6th place in our ranking of Serie A forwards and in 4th place among Italian strikers.

The next game could push the striker even further up the ranking, as he will have a low plank of just 2.7 rating points to beat. If he can sustain that scoring drive, Quagliarella has the potential to rise all the way to the top of the Serie A top chart.
