Europa League: Pizarro Didn’t Need Werder Victory to Break Into World Top 23

Werder Bremen’s Peru international Claudio Pizarro (pictured) has been so impressive lately that his 2 goals in the 2:2 draw with Austria Vienna in the Europa League yesterday were enough to send him into the top tier of the FTBL World Top 23, our list of the world’s to strikers.

Pizarro has scored 6 goals in his last five games, earning an impressive 111.83 points in the FTBL system to take his tally to 182.04 points. He is now 2nd in our ranking of Bundesliga forwards, while 5th in the world ranking.

In his next 5 games Pizarro will have to clear a threshold of 20 rating points on average, which means he will have to continue scoring if he wants to hold on to a spot in the elite.
