As Liverpool prepare to host bitter rivals Manchester United in what will certainly be the central game of the Premier League on Sunday, they will be looking to put an end to the crisis the team has been engulfed in for while now, beginning with skipper Steven Gerrard (pictured left).
Gerrard currently has an overall FTBL rating of just 93.90 points and is, uncharacteristically, out of the World Top 23, as well as the top chart of the English Premier League. He has lost approximately 90 rating points in the FTBL system just in the last month: Gerrard scored his last goal in Liverpool’s 6:1 drubbing of Hull City, a distant memory by now.
The England international now has to beat the 21.04 rating points he pick up against Hull City this coming Sunday. If Liverpool go down again, Gerrard will exit even the top tier of our ranking of English players.
