Manchester United's Dutch international Edwin van der Sar has enjoyed two victories with the Red Devils so far since returning from injury, and the coming clash against Liverpool in English Premier League action on Sunday could send him back into the FTBL Top 23, our list of the world’s top 23 football players.
Van der Sar, who has a tally of 105.21 points at the moment, will face a plank of 11 rating points to beat, which will be the same plank for world #3 Júlio César when Inter Milan take on Catania in Serie A action tomorrow (César has a tally of 109.64 points now). In the meantime, world #2 Víctor Valdés (109.64 points) will have to beat a plank of 14.60 rating points when Barcelona take on Real Zaragoza in La Liga action on Sunday. Valdés will be able to clear that hurdle only if the Catalans win without conceding a goal.
