AS Monaco’s Brazilian Nene (pictured), after capturing the top spot in the FTBL ranking of midfielders in the French Ligue 1 just a while ago, moved a step further into the top 6 of our world ranking as he scored twice in the Monegasques’s 3:1 away win against US Boulogne yesterday.

The Brazilian picked up 17.7 rating points in our system to boost his tally to 165.37 points, his highest achievement since we started tracking him.

Nene is now 6th in the FTBL world ranking of midfielders and the best Brazilian midfielder at the moment.
