Kevin Kurányi (pictured at the top) and counterpart Stefan Kiessling (pictured lower) reached the top tier of the FTBL ranking of strikers in the Bundesliga after Schalke rallied late in the game to extract a draw at home against Bayer Leverkusen in league action yesterday (2:2).
Kurányi scored the first for Schalke in the 88th minute to earn 16.6 rating points in the FTBL system, while Kiessling earned 11.5 rating points with the first for Leverkusen right before half-time.
Kurányi is now in 4th place in the ranking with a tally of 135.33 points, while Kiessling is in 6th place with 124.83 points. The two have also advanced in our ranking of German strikers; they are now in 1st and 3rd positions, respectively.
