Napoli’s Slovak international Marek Hamšík broke into the top 3 of the FTBL ranking of midfielders in the Italian Serie A after helping his side come from behind to claim a shock 3:2 win at Juventus (3:2) in league action yesterday.
Hamšík netted a brace to earn more than 30 rating points in the FTBL system and take his tally to 114.78 points. He is now just behind Inter Milan’s Dejan Stankovic (126.54 points) and Wesley Sneijder (120.25 points) in the FTBL ranking of Serie A midfielders. It is worth noting that Hamšík was not in the Top 23 of the Serie A going into yesterday’s match. His has now extended his lead in our ranking of Slovak players.
