Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had not taken part in the team matches during 5 months (from end of May until middle of October). Many people had already removed him from the team future plans and perspectives, but his young substitute Ben Foster doesn't satisfy the trainer's expectations. That's why the dutch came back to the “Red Devils” line-up.
By now, Van der Sar's score is less than 100 points, but in the next matchup against CSKA Moscow in Champions League tournament, his team could launch him directly to FTBL TOP-23. In case of a “clean” victory, the goalkeeper will add to his score more than 15 points, as this match will “overwrite” a match that brought some penalization to his rating.
However, this could be not enough if Real Madrid won Milan in the away match. If so, Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas(who goes third in FTBL worldwide rating) could get to an unreachable point for Edwin. Anyway, this is a good opportunity for the dutch goalkeeper to guarantee himself a good position in ranking for a possible growth, what wouldn't be bad at all.
