The Sweden international is going into tonight’s game with a plank of just over 1 rating point to beat in the FTBL system. With an overall FTBL rating of 170.89 points at the moment, a win in Kazan for Barcelona (coupled with a scored goal) will bring Ibrahimovic closer to (or even carry him past) Real Madrid’s star Cristiano Ronaldo (205.03 points), the world’s #1 football player in the FTBL ranking at the moment.
Even a draw against the Russian champions still has the potential of carrying the Swede to the top of the elite; he trails #8 in the ranking Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov (178.46 points) by just 8 rating points.
