Olympique Marseille’s France international Steve Mandanda (pictured) has returned in the top 3 of the FTBL world ranking of goalkeepers by elbowing aside Real Madrid’s Iker Casillas.
Mandanda an company punished FC Zürich 6:1 in their Champions League’s home game on Tuesday, while Casillas’ Real Madrid were held to 1:1 draw at AC Milan. The Spain international lost as a consequence approximately 7 rating points in the FTBL system to see his tally shrink to 107.83 points, while the Frenchman added 12 rating points to boost his numbers to 114.66 points.
Mandanda is now No 3 in the world, while Casillas has been pushed down to 4th place. It is worth noting how Mandanda’s progress in the last month has been phenomenal: he has picked up an impressive (for a goalkeeper) 50 rating points in that time interval!
