Chelsea skipper John Terry will go into today’s Premier League game against bitter rivals Manchester United as the world’s #1 defender in the FTBL ranking and with a small head start over rival Maicon of Inter Milan, who will be looking to close the gap in the Serie A game against AS Roma.
Terry sits at the top of the ranking with a tally of 119.44 points. He goes into today’s game with a guaranteed 1 point; a point he dropped in the Blues 1:2 loss to Aston Villa.
Brazil international Maicon (118.41 points), on the other hand, will be facing a plank of 2.50 rating points to beat against Roma. He set the plank in the recent 2:2 draw at Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League.
