Fulham’s U.S. international Clint Dempsey (pictured right) became the highest ranked North American football player in the FTBL system after scoring a goal in his side’s 1:1 draw against Wigan Athletic in Premier League action yesterday.

Dempsey scored from the penalty box in the 39th minute to earn 6.51 rating points in the FTBL system and increase his tally to a solid 103.57 points. He is now 27th in our world ranking of midfielders.

The U.S. international is also among the top 8 midfielders of the English Premier League and the best midfielder at Fulham.
