Juventus’ Amauri (pictured) will be back in the top 6 of the FTBL ranking of strikers in the Serie A if he can lead the Old Lady to a win in their next league game by scoring at least a goal.
Amauri is currently just a few points from the elite group with a tally of 110.97 points. His immediate rival for a spot in the top 6 is Inter Milan’s young star Mario Balotelli (114.39 points). In our world ranking, Amauri is only 61st.
But Balotelli is at a disadvantage, since he will face a daunting plank of 23 rating points to beat in his next appearance, while Amauri will face a hurdle of just 19-20 points.
