Brazilian star Adriano (pictured) captured the top spot in the FTBL ranking of forwards in the Brazilian league after scoring the last goal in Flamengo’s 3:1 away win over No 3 Atlético Mineiro last Sunday.
Adriano, who definitely seems to have re-discovered his football after a miserable few years in Europe, picked up 18.85 rating points in the FTBL system to boost his tally to 122.63 points. Adriano has now overtaken former Olympique Lyon forward Fred (121.09 points), who now plays for struggling Fluminense.
Adriano has also climbed to 5th place in our ranking of Brazilian forwards, pushing down São Paulo’s Washington (113.91 points).
