Game 2 of the World Cup playoffs between Bosnia Herzegovina and Portugal could prove tricky for Portuguese defenders, with any fumbling in the defense having the potential to cost them qualification to the finals of football’s showcase event.
A look at the FTBL rankings of Portuguese defenders seems to indicate that Chelsea’s Ricardo Carvalho (pictured in the #6 jersey) has an opportunity to improve his overall FTBL score if Portugal come out on top.
With a tally of 87.46 points at the moment, Carvalho will go into the game with a guaranteed bonus of 1 rating point. A win for Portugal will mean his FTBL score moves beyond the 100-point mark.
Carvalho is only 4th in the FTBL ranking of Portuguese defenders at the moment, while his not among the top in the English Premier League. The situation could change after game 2 in Bosnia.
