As Italy international and one-time World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro (pictured) continues the battle for the Scudetto with Juventus this season, his FTBL score has remained one of the best among defenders in the Serie A.

Cannavaro rose to capture the 6th spot in the FTBL ranking of defenders in the Italian top league after last Sunday’s 1:0 win over Udinese in Turin with a score of 85.14 points. He pushed down teammate Fabio Grosso (80.5 points) in the process.

Cannavaro seems to have made the right decision to return to Italy around 6 months ago after a couple of years at Spanish giants Real Madrid; his overall FTBL score has remained stable at around 85 points in the last two and a half months.
