Liverpool’s skipper and England international Steven Gerrard (pictured left) returned in the top tier of the FTBL world ranking of midfielders after a bout of bad form and injuries that lasted 2 months with a 2:0 win over Everton yesterday.
Gerard’s slide in the FTBL ranking began back in September when his score collapse from 180 to just 80 points in the course of just month and a half. He began redressing the bar only this November and is slow rise culminated in yesterday’s gain of 16.48 rating points.
Gerrard now has an overall score of 124.73 points and ranks 8th in the world among midfielders at the moment. He could consolidate these gains in his next game, in which the plank to beat will amount to just 1 rating point.
