CSKA Moscow’s strong end of season boosted the FTBL scores of many leading players, with young Russian international Alan Dzagoev (pictured in center) picking up more than 40 rating points in the last 3 games alone to break into the top 3 of our world ranking of U-21 midfielders with a tally of 93.16 points.
This is a career-high for Dzagoev, and he now trails only Werder Bremen’s Mesut Özil (122.42 points) and Real Madrid’s Argentine star Gonzalo Higuaín (131.28 points).
Dzagoev had a strong performance in CSKA’s recent 2:1 home win over Wolfsburg in the Champions League’s group stage, adding more than 15 points to his tally. He followed with another solid game against No 7 Saturn in the last round of the Russian Premier League with the opener in a 3:0 win.
