England international John Terry, the No. 1 defender in the world at the moment in the FTBL ranking, will have a chance to add even more luster to his achievements when Chelsea travel to Manchester City on Saturday in what should be one of the attractions in this weekend’s Premier League action.
Terry, who has an overall FTBL score of 147.09 points at the moment, is poised to hit the 150-point mark, a level he has never achieved since FTBL.com began tracking players. This will happen if Terry, who goes into the game with a plank of just 2.50 rating points to beat, produces a good-enough performance against a City side that has mightily improved from last year’s.
In fact, even a draw with a 1:1 score might be enough for the Chelsea skipper. But if the Blues concede more than one goal, then Terry will have to wait.
If Terry is successful after Saturday’s game, he will be only the second Premier League defender to ever take his score beyond the 150-point mark in the FTBL system. Manchester United’s Serbia international Nemanja Vidic was the first to do so earlier this year.
