Arsenal’s Russian international Andrei Arshavin was at his best in the Gunners’ 2:0 home win over No. 10 Stoke City yesterday in the Premier League, grabbing the opener (the 100th goal in his career) in the 26th minute to breathe some life into his FTBL score, which has been sagging recently.
The goal and overall performance brought the Russian 9.29 rating points in the FTBL system to push his score up to 126.90 points. This could mark Arshavin’s return to the type of form he displayed earlier in the season.
Arshavin’s combined plank to beat in his next 2 games will amount to just 1.5 rating points, and he will have a chance of returning in the FTBL Top 23 of the Premier League if he can beat that plank.
