Despite Inter Milan’s 2:1 loss to Juventus yesterday, Cameroonian star Samuel Eto’o remains the favorite to take the lead in the FTBL ranking of forwards in the Serie A in the coming days.
Eto’o is in 3rd place in the ranking at the moment, but his combined plank to beat in his next 5 games is considerably lower than that of the competition, at 48.11 rating points: # 2 in the ranking AC Milan’s Brazilian Alexandre Pato faces a plank of 93.84 rating points, while current # 1 Francesco Totti of AS Roma will have to clear 111.67 rating points in 5 games.
Totti will have a chance to prolong his stay at the top tonight as Roma take on Lazio: his plank to beat is just 8 rating points. He could extend the lead over Pato to 18-20 points. Yet Eto’o still looks better placed to grab the top spot a few games down the road.
