Prolific striker and Spain international David Villa retained the top spot in the FTBL world ranking as he scored a goal in Valencia’s 2:1 away win over Athletic Bilbao yesterday in La Liga.
Villa, who went into the game with a daunting plank of 25.70 rating points to beat, leveled the game in the 61st minute, picking up enough points in the FTBL system to push his overall score to an eye-popping 220.14 points, the highest score of any player in the world at the moment.
The Spaniard will face a plank of 13 rating points to beat when Valencia play their next game this coming Sunday against No. 2 Real Madrid in La Liga.
