After losing the top spot in the FTBL world ranking of midfielders after Chelsea’s stunning 1:2 loss to Manchester City in Premier League action last Saturday, Frank Lampard is facing the prospect of further losses in the coming games.
Lampard dropped more than 35 rating points in the FTBL system, especially due to the missed penalty at City. With a score of 168.65 points at the moment, Lampard now ranks 3rd in the world among midfielders.
In the coming Champions League group stage game against APOEL Nicosia, the England international could afford to rest, but the following Premier League game against Everton will be decisive if he wants to avoid further sliding down in the ranking.
