Dynamo Kyiv’s Artem Milevskiy’s FTBL score rose despite yesterday’s 1:2 loss to Spanish giants Barcelona in the Champions League and the Ukrainians’ failure to qualify; he scored the only goal for his side as early as 2 minutes into the game.
Milevskiy’s performance earned him 8.82 rating points in the FTBL system, pushing his tally up to 90.34 points, the highest of any Ukrainian player at the moment.
Going forward, the Ukrainian international might find it hard to sustain his ascent. On December 13, in the Ukrainian league game against No. 5 Tavriya Simferopol, he will face a plank of 17.34 rating points to beat in our system. He set the plank in the league game against No. 2 Shakhtar Donetsk with 2 of his side’s 3 goals.
It is very unlikely Milevskiy will reach the 100-point mark in the next few games: for one, the Ukrainian league is ranked lower than the Champions League in our system (Category 2, against Category 5), which means his take of rating points will be lower. Second, even if he has a hat-trick (for example), he is still likely to fall short of that 100-point mark.
